1.1 To cultivate professionals who have knowledge and competence to undertake art practice.
1.2 To cultivate talented people in fine art as well as cultural creativity and to promote humanistic concern.
1.3 To cultivate professionals in the field of design, new media and digital art.
1.4 To train school teachers who are specialized in the field of arts and humanities.
2.The Objectives of MA program in Department of Visual Arts and Design:2.1 To cultivate fine art professionals with abilities in both research of art theory and practice.
2.2 To cultivate professionals with the academic profundity in art theory as well as in art administration.
2.3 To cultivate professionals with high profile in the field of design, new media and digital art.
2.4 To train school teachers who are specialized in the field of arts and humanities.

3. Future of the Graduate Students in Department of Visual Arts and Design:3.1 Direction of Professional Career: To work in the art-related field (art and design editing for publication, media design, visual art practice, art teaching, animation) as well as high school teacher of art and humanity field.
3.2 Advanced Study: To study fine art, design and animation related post-graduate school in Taiwan or overseas. There are also MA program in Fine Art as well as Animation & Media Design for the choice of students’ further education.
